Carry out a project that includes activities for scientific production based on active citizen participation, whose results provide knowledge for some of the areas of the ecosystem called Open Science.

The inclusion of citizens in scientific work is a form of appropriation and democratization of knowledge, since through the participation of people in scientific work, whether in collaboration or production under the direction of academic institutions, the fabric is transformed. in favor of the common good, that is why the generation of inter-institutional collaborative networks will provide an incubator for projects of social relevance in Latin America without precedent.

2. Editorial Practices 3.0

Given the opening of scientific production thanks to open access, the needs for digital transformation are increasingly pressing to adapt to the parameters of transparency, visibility and interoperability, which is why the policies that promote cooperative networks, strategic alliances and the exchange of good practices, should set the course for the future of publishing in Latin America.

Submit a proposal that promotes the creation and consolidation of collaborative networks between inter-institutional publishers at the Latin American level, which trigger activities in favor of visibility, interoperability, accessibility and evaluation of good practices in open access journals.

  • dPyx diagnostic indicators.

  • Collaborative Products

4. Professional Internships

One of the objectives of the link between PKP and the academic community is to promote the exchange of experiences through the active participation of students in projects linked to Open Science through stays and collaborations in projects of the PKP and eScire activities.

Establish an institutional call that allows a selection filter to be made for the best ideas and/or proposals of its students to develop, manage, implement or evaluate any action in favor of the open science ecosystem: (Open Access, Open Infrastructures, Educational Resources Open, Open Data, Open Labs, Crowdfunding, Open Notebooks, Open Innovation, Citizen Science, Open Assessment, Open Teams, and Open Source)
